Moto Talbott features numerous vintage and current BMWs—including this stunning 1925 R37, which won Best of Show and Best BMW Classic at the 2016 Quail Motorcycle Gathering. “It’s one of the rarest BMWs ever made,” says Robb. “BMW only made 100 R37s in 1925, and just two in racing trim. This is one of them.”

The engine is a 494 cc two-cylinder with overhead valves and aluminum cylinder head. The bike produced double the horsepower of the street-going R32 and won close to 100 races during its heyday.
