1956 Benelli Leoncino Corsa 125

This beautiful 1956 Benelli Leoncino Corsa 125, or “little lion,” was made in three styles: normal, sport, and race. This 1956 race bike has one-off sandcast crankcases, and the four-stroke engine has a unique camshaft drive enclosing five gears.

With such a tiny engine, and limited horsepower, aerodynamics and weight were critical—the bike has extensive drilling to shave grams, and the low clip-ons and seat with “bum stop” enabled riders to get into an extreme tuck position.
