1956 Taurus 200ss
When you see a rough “sandcast” crankcase like that on our 1956 Taurus 200ss, it means one thing: a special factory racer. This Italian beauty is the only one of its kind. Taurus started building motorcycles in Milan in 1933, and in 1938
produced a 500cc DOHCsingle for racing. Production ceased in WW II, but restarted after the war with an overhead valve 250 single and a two-stroke 160cc engine. The company ceased production in 1966.
